It really works ! Thanks all! I have sony TRV830 and got the msg C31:42. Its out of warranty and expected an repair estimate around USD300 ( I am in India). Then I tried to search internet, just typed 'sony handycam error C31' and got this forum. So I tried with heater/blower first, but that did not helped, then I shaked the camera but that also not worked, finally I really slapped it by hand 2/3 times, and that was working ! Anyone from Sony service can explain this ? What is the real problem? Thanks a lot!
