The model mentioned is an analogue device and so cannot be connected into any PC unless the PC is fitted with an analogue capture card, this effectively converting the camcorders analogue output signal in to a digital one. A somewhat more efficient way is just to transfer video from the camcorder into a DVD recorders A /V input sockets (even cheaper types of DVD recorders give great results) then for better editing play the DVD a PC that has some video editing software installed like Nero or similar.
