How do I display song/channel information automatically?

the unit displays info when I press the dsp button but when it goes to a new song nothing comes up and I have to press the display button again to get song information. My wifes stock stereo is constantly giving info automatically. I have tried the ever scroll function to no avail. Anyone have a thought? Thanks
