TV stopped.

TV, approx 10 years old, went blank suddenly. No sound, picture or stand by light. Tried the hair dryer, did not restart. When left overnight, power starts with a noise then goes dead. Very annoyed. When does your petition go to Sony as there are messages back to 2006? Was about to buy Sony Bravia flat screen LCD but after reading this, no way!!
