Hi Jamie. i had the exact same problem on my sony bravia, i would bet that your line is going up and down rather than across your screen , if this is the case them i am afraid it cannot be repaired mate, you would be best to just purchase a new tv i am sorry to say. you could get the lcd screen replaced but it would cost to much,you would actually be cheaper just getting a new tv.
