Kind of funny about the lens being stuck, searched all over the web, have spent two days trying things and reading, saw everything that points to Sony having a problem with this and expensive to fix. I bought the camera on Ebay so it isnt under warrenty and is worth a couple hundrd dollars to send it back. When I saw your reply about dropping it I figured I had little to loose so I dropped it 6 inches a couple of times on my wooden desk. Ther third time it worked, back to normal and taking pictures. Go figure. Thanks!
