Unit will not come on, it shows a power indication, popping from the speakers

TV was on, it started flashing and then the screen went dead, the power indication is on but cannot turn the unit off, the speakers are popping also. I have obtained a schematic and have repaired the unit convergence board once before. Just need a heads up, an information will be appriciated.
