The GR-AXM17 is an analogue VHS-C camcorder, so the only way you can get any video taken on this camcorder into a PC is by (1) first of all recording the video on to a DVD disc with the use of a standard (and unsophisticated) DVD recorder, then import the result into the PC's ROM drive, or (2) by purchasing an analogue video input card for the PC, as this would enable you to connect the AXM17's A/V output straight into the RCA sockets on the analogue video card. In the long run both methods would likely prove to be similar in costs.
