Hey man...I'm having the same issue with my Sony (same model as yours). The repairman came over and said that we need both boards replaced and his quote was $450. I'm in Arlington, Virginia so the parts and labor are probably inflated so take that into consideration. I'm thinking that just getting a new TV might be smarter. Now I gotta figure out how to get rid of the TV...I think it weighs at least 300 pounds! Take care, Travis
