Please tell me how to fix my sony cdx-5290!!

I have a sony cdx-5290 cd player and i am having a memory problem , and a cd reading error. The memory problem is when i power it on and play a cd or set my stations then power it off for about 5 minutes it will keep the memory , but after about 10-20 minutes of being powered off , it looses the station memory and what track and track time the cd was on , so basicly it just resets itself. When i put a cd in,most of the time it will say E-99 and i was wandering how to fix that problem along with the memory problem. If you can help me with these problems i would appreciate it very much Thanks , Brenda Minor
