timer red light blinking / no power

as i was reading this site i never saw so many people with the same problem..i turn tv on it red timer lite blinks and blinks and blinks , can push every button and of course nothing happens... have to unplug it to turn it off as power button want work once turned on... and of course remote missing doesnt help ... did any body ever get a fix on this problem? please help!!!
