hi I just came across your request for help. 4 years too late though, but nonetheless, as they say better late than never. plus I am sure you have sorted out the problem by now, or got rid of the tripod. the best place would be either any dealer who is selling manfrotto tripods, or Bogen in NY. good luck and hope this was some help.
