How to repair your black/blank screen.Blue power light must be on!

On this expensive model HP F2105 monitor,2 things commonly go bad.The cheaply engineered front power button breaks off and falls into the case.Thats easily fixed.Number 2,The screen will go dim/dull and flicker,and eventually just turn black after a few seconds or sometimes minutes.The -blue power light stays ON in any case. Number 2 requires a new -backlight inverter board-,which is now available and redesigned from a NON-HewlittPackard source.I'm posting the link to the provider of this -backlight circuit board-.I replaced mine and am very happy with the outcome.$90.00 bucks for the fix.The board has been redesigned and is BETTER than the O.E.M. www.moniserv.com
