JVC TV AV3589S won't come on

"My television was a hand me down from my husband's bar. it always had a trouble with the sound (it would go out and i would hit it on the back just where it slopes down near the top and it would come back) this went on for about a year until i had my son in law hit it for me and then the tv went OUT. no light comes on it just clicks when the power button is pushed. After searching the internet. i found some advice on what might be wrong (one guy said that the IC602 and the C627 might need to be replaced) Here are my questions: How do i locate these parts in the jungle that is the back of my TV? and Once i do locate them how can i tell if they are bad and how do i remove then replace them properly? also i believe i have found the trouble with the sound (a set of wires from the speaker section were loose) ironic huh? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much
