Home | Previous messageI had bad experience with DEENDAYAL CAMERA. I went there to service my canon A85 digital camera for CCD problem, but I was told that they will look into the issue and call me back. Next day I got call from there and started saying my camera had shutter problem along with CCD issue. To repair the same they will correct the shutter problem and then send it canon service center in north india to replace the CCD. I asked them to send without doing anything and claiming that whatever issue if you are planning to send, let them do all the work. They denied it and asked 1700/- for the shutter problem. After I enquired from few of my friends that Deenayal is doing the same for all. That too for the same CCD issue. So I asked them to return the camera and gave it directly to Canon care center in malleswaram. Canon care center took it and told it takes 15 days to 30 days. After 25 days I got the call from Canon care center that my camera is ready and got the working camera with paying single rupee. Hope this will help you while dealing with service companies as Deendayal.

Very true ramesh.. same happened to me with s1 is , shutter problem and ccd.. deendayal was demanding 1800 bucks. Canon Care is ready to do it for free and takes 1 month. Rajeev G - 12th Mar 2008 9:11 Canon Care Centre has tried to cheet the costomer by trying to charge on fake problem.When I insisted to return the camera as it is,I was told "we have rectified the issue You don't have to pay"Please don't spoil CANON BRAND NAME with such cheeting. |
