Hi I purchased my JVC on 14 Jan 2006 just over two years ago in Oxford England. The model number is TV/AV42PD20/ 42" Costing £1300.00 The problems started in Jan 08, a green stripe appeared at the top of screen approx 6" in depth, this would clear on its own after about 15 - 20 mins. Then about three weeks ago the TV was on...... and then there was no picture at all! the lights at the bottom right hand of the screen were flashing between red & green. I contacted the retailer for advice, they told me to turn it all off over night, and if it didn't right itself then it was going to be a very expensive repair!!!! I did and it didn't "right itself" I'm not in a posistion to pay for a "very expensive repair" and don't feel I should have to, as the appliance is only 2 years old? I purchased JVC as I have always been lead to belive JVC is a top quality Manufacturer? I would appreciate any help you can give me. kind regards @nnette
