Azden 300 UPR (wireless receiver) not working.

I got a Azden 300 UPR and a 30 BT (transmitter that gose with it). The receiver wasn't working right out of the box. I know its the receiver b/c I tested the transmitter that came with it on another 300 UPR and it worked. Do to some production studio drama I put off contacting the company untill too many days past the date of receipt. I still contacted them, but I may be forced to live with this mic. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem?
