Camcorder continuously zooms in and out on its own.

Hello Stacy, My JVC GR-D90U Camcorder continuously zooms in and out on its own. As it does this, it makes a clicking sound as if the zoom is turning more than it is able to. I am not sure how I can fix this zoom issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jarratt
