Hi, I also have the lens cap issue.When i switch on my JVC GR-DF-420EK camcorder this message is all i get. The unit is 2 years old and i've only used it a handfull of times. It was repaired within its first year with a supposedly 'iris' issue. But it is now no longer under warranty. If you have any information i could use to fix this myself i would really appreciate it.
