recall till 09/2008

i have a mini dv handycam only a yr old when one day i was not able to record. the screen was just a fuzzy green but i can record voices but no pictures. i was able to review old tapes on playback fine. i called sony service center and they informed me of a image sensor problem and that they will fix it for free and postage paid also. so if anyone has a similar problem like mine go to the service center website for your info or call them.
