supply toubles with my JVC GR-D50E

Hi , I'am french. So excuse my english. I'll try to explain to you my troubles with my GR-D50E : I was using it during a week ........and one morning , it did'nt want to start . I first tought about battery. But it was ok (7,23 V)and my external supply was ok too (11,26 V). When the external supply is connected , the red light "CHARGE" is usely "ON" but now the light stays "OFF" and nothing works ! An other problem is that I've got a tape inside. And when there is no supply , you can't take it off.......... If you can help me , I'll be very "reconnaissant" (french word ..I don't know in english). thank's a lot.
