Help With Error Codes-Magnavox ZV450MW8

VCR is eating up my tapes. the unit shuts down and when turn back on, the letter "T" displays on the TV screen. I remove the tape add another it plays for a bit then the same happens. Error codes received to date; "T" "D" and "C" no other letters or numbers follows. TIA Joan
