The camcorder you mention has approximately five internal fuses, although only one is liable to have blown. It should be said that these are special miniature soldered in types that are not easy to replace without proper tools, and obviously the case has to be separated fist to gain access to them. However your statement about a "bad charger" conjures up thoughts of the possibility of a non standard charger having been used, and if this applies the problem could be far more serious than just replacing a fuse, as camcorder electronics cannot tolerate excess voltages, for even a fraction of a second, as the highly sensitive IC'S used can blow faster than the fuse, and usually does!!

Thank you for your response!I'm at the end of my rope, can you reconmend a repair shop? I don't have the tools to repair it myself. I have opened the case hoping to locate the fuse, but I don,t know where to look. Thanks again for your help and quick response
