hey i have JVC GR-D270U camcoder and want to transfer the video from the tape to myDELL Latitude D-810 laptop.i read the hestory here,what i am understand that i should buy a firewire 1394 card to transfer the vedio.can you confirm? if possible to suggest types of this card it will help? now when i hock it to the laptop with DV/USB cable windows couldn't recognize it and it identefied the camcoderas unknown devise or there no driver installed is that normal? for all this i couldn't transfer the pictures from the camcoder to the laptop even though i use Digital Photo Navigator 1.5. any detail solution please?
