DV Studio Problem

Hi, looks like I am in good company, I too have just bought my camcorder off ebay, I had a little problem as they sent me the wrong camcorder and I had a dispute with the seller, they replaced the camera but it came with no software so the time limit is now up for furter complaint. It came without the software and it doesn't seem to work properly with any other video capture software. Any ideas?
