having problems i cant get rid of seqence bands on left an right side of screen after my 2 year old hit some buttons

im haveing a problem where im geting almost like a shadowing on the left an the right of the tv bands are about 4 to 5 inchs wide an go from top to bottom i can still see the full picture but there darn bands are seqence like i can see threw em but when anything white is in them bands it turns them like an almond color i would like to know is these bands that are showing up a tv problem or just a seting now when i play a dvd or a game on the tv i dont get the bands only when im watch accual tv can someone plz help me with this this all started when my daughter started hiting buttons on the tv 3 days ago plz help
