Black screen while still the camera is on and lens cap is removed

I have this problem os black screen of JVC mini while still the lens cap is removed. I cannot record but I can reply and see the already recorded. Would you please help me solve this problem. The model is, JVC GR-DF470AS

Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing you can "externally" do to correct the problem as it can be caused by one of three things, all of requiring the case to be separated for testing to determine which one applies
