Electrically coupling two Sony P10 cameras for stereo photography

I want to electrically couple two cameras so that operating zoom or shutter release on one camera operates the other one as well. Also I would like to synchronise them so that they fire at the same time. This is important in photographing moving objects. I have seen this done with later Sony cameras.
