Screen problem with Sony DCR-HC20

I have a DCR-HC20, which has stopped working because the LCD touch screen does not respond to touches. It displays fine, but I cannot go through setup so the camera doesn't work. I read it might be the cable between the screen and the body of the camera. Has anyone seen this, and does anyone have a source for the part. I don't think I'd have a problem changing it if I were able to find the part. Thanks. Vince
