Sony KP53HS10 loses picture

7 year old rear projection loses picture, standby lite blinks 5 times, then pause and then 4 times over and over. Once unit is shut off, and powered on, picture returns only to happen more frequently. This after an hour or so of viewing pleasure. Any help or manual would be greatly appreciated.
