Sony PS-FL7II Turntable

Need repair manual

I have a Sony PS-FL7 II linear tracking turntable. The arm sticks about 3/4 across the record because, I believe, the lubricant is old and sticky and bunches up and stops the arm. I need to know what lubricant to use on the traveler rod. I can find a repair manual but, it's $42.00. Does anyone have a manual and can look up the lubricant for me? Thanks

it isn't lubricant that is needed. you need to replace the drive rubberband for the arm. it is a small black rubberband. you can substitute a rubberband from Health and Beauty section in walmart (Afro section) to get you by. don't use the tightest one or you will here the tracking through the tone arm.
