actually my surround system of jvc which has options like dvd /superdvd/vcd/fm/am etc all are working in that except the dvd

actually my surround system of jvc which has options like dvd /superdvd/vcd/fm/am etc all are working in that except the dvd what is the suggestion to it because it not even reading the dvds at all and not only the dvds but also any cds so pls give me the suggestion thank you
