That pretty much says it all. There is a known defect where a black rubber roller falls off because a small white plastic lock that holds it on comes loose. Sony is totally hopeless about what this part is, and refuses to take any responsibility for an obvious flaw in their products. If you have the part, you should probably post on camerahacker.com, there are tons of people there with this problem, many who need this part and perhaps the roller also, self included.
