42" jvc tv, There is no remote, or receiver so the tv wont turn on (it needs calibrating with receiver apparantly to turn on.

I have purchased the receiver and universal remote. The receiver is a small metal thing and I do not know where this fits into. Is there anybody out there who knows and if so could you please let me know. MUCH APPRECIATED.
