Re[2]: JVC Mini DV Camera

I have a JVC GR-D72U that is showing a very distorted picture, most of which is black with some horizontal streaks of white with jagged edges. In the beginning it was stating that the lens cap was on and there was only a black screen, but now it has this very distorted picture that is unrecognizable. Does this sound like it would be covered under the free repair?

HI! My husband and I are having the same problem with our JVC GR-D72U. It has worked wonderfully for 3 years and the other day we took it out for Christmas and all we got was a very disorted picture with horizontal lines. Could you please email me with any suggestions.
