sony trinitron tv problems

Model KV-36FV15 S/N 9055574 and SAVA 700 purchased 1/2000. TV would shut off immediately. Now picture goes black then back to picture every 5-10 seconds. Great picture, not sure if it is worth spending money to have repaired. SAVA 700 power supply went bad 3 years ago. I would not recommend SONY products. GX69ES receiver repaired, now power switch is bad. Camcorder repaired, still working. Sony vcr,dvd and 26" tv purchased 1/2000, they are still working fine.
