mp3 disk error

my mp3 did the same disk error thing at first then i fiddled around on my computer and i found something worse. my memory states that i have filled 93% of my memory when i enter into the music section and the voice section it appears "empty disk". when i go on my computer there is only one file on my mp3 that wont delete and the wjhole thing is stuffed up please help...ive only had it for a day...and its an overseas product "viola" anyone with any info please give me a buzz thanks heaps, sarah
