I replaced the IC's and it fixed the problem but now I have to adjust convergence everyday

I had a convergence problem and replaced the IC's now the convergence can be adjusted and it looks fine till the TV is turned off and back on.Everytime it is turned on and off the convergence has to be readjusted.Can anyone tell me what causes this and is it hard on the TV to keep adjusting this.
