JVC will fix it COMPLETELY FREE-SHIPPING AND ALL!!! Go too their website www.jvc.com, and there's a link just for this problem which was a design flaw that THEY WILL FIX FOR FREE.....had the same problem and my camera was out of warranty almost a year. Got it back within 2 weeks!!! Have a good one!! Hi~ I was reading through various posts regarding the JVC camera with the lens cap error and distorted picture. Were you ever able to fix your camera? If so...can you let me know how? Thanks! Katie |
