You replied on November 26, 2007 to an earlier message I sent, saying that your company would be closed until December 20th. Therefore, I assume that you are operating again and will reply to this message as-soon-as-possible? I would like to know which of the new CDM4 laser transports you sell would be the stock replacement for the one in my faltering Magnavox CDB630 CD player (purchased in 1990)? Your web site shows several versions of the CDM4 (CDM4/11, CDM4/18 and CDM4/19, etc.). What are the differences among these and which one is standard for my Magnavox player? Would one of the non-standard CDM4 s also work in the Magnavox CDB630(such as the CDM4/19)? What advantage would the upgraded transport have over the standard version? It would be most helpful if you would quote the current US Dollar price (including shipping) for both the standard replacement CDM4 and an alternate (later ) version of this laser transport (again, perhaps the CDM4/18 or 19?). Also, please advise regarding any special or tricky installation considerations or problems my technician may encounter trying to install a later non-standard CDM4 laser transport into my CDB630 CD player.
