After TV is on for a bit, it all of a sudden cuts out. You can tap on the tv slightly and it comes back on, then will cut out again.

What could be causing a tv to cut out all of a sudden and then you can tap on the bottom of the tv under the CRT and it will come back on, then will cut out again after a bit. You can keep tapping on the tv and it will come back on again after each time it cuts out. What is causing this?
