Thank goodness im not the only one who has had this problem!!

I was just about to throw my camcorder away as my local jessops shop wanted £222.71 to service it and i don't even think these cameras are whorth that now. Can someone please e-mail me the soloution to get rid of the blank screen. Thanks ed
