Dew Sensor?

I have a Panasonic PV-L680D palmcorder. It keeps saying dew detected a shutting off. I have dried it out of humidity and tried letting it sit, but still dew detected. Once it did start working but in the middle of a game popped up dew detected again and shut off. I read several ither complaints online of this same problem but no solution. Is there a way to turn off or disengage the dew sensor?
