Thank you soooooooooo much!!! I cant believe how stupid i was. I was lookin through the camera for reset options and it just didn't occur 2me to look for the word 'Initialize'. Problem fixed straight away after putting up with no flash for 3months.:D Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!

yeah those were simple instructions and they TOTALLY worked. thanks. i typed that error message into google, found this site, and took ur advice. im been dealing with a crappy camera for like 2 weeks and u fixed my problem in like .7 seconds, so thanks!
