JVC AV-32WF35 Picture Size Settings (Stuck

Justin Posted Dec 03, 2007

Any way to fix this???

Hello, I have a JVC AV-32WF35, manufactured in June 2004. For whatever the reason--and this stands true whether I'm watching cable TV, playing XBox or watching a DVD--the screen seems to be stuck in a permanently 'zoomed in' position. This is a problem that has been going on for a few months, and to the best of my knowledge I have not changed any settings that could have potentially caused this. Anyway, as a result, I cannot see the entire picture, making TV/DVD viewing annoying and gameplay impossible. I have searched thoroughly on the TV's menu, looked through the manual and looked high and low on the Internet and have had no luck finding any solution(s). I am confident that there is no conspicuous way to change this using the Menu. Are you familiar with a setting that I am missing, or aware of a way to do a 'master reset' of sorts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Justin

Justin I think I recently had the same complication! I purchased my TV back in 2001. It is a AV-32WF35? One day I turned the TV on and noticed that the picture looked like it was at %125, or like you said, stuck in zoom. I attempted all of the menu setting and read through the manual and found no possible way of adjusting a setting. It was like one day it just zoomed in. I thought it was the cable for the longest time (still using the old basic cable). I simply dealt with the problem for months because this wasn't my primary set. Finally after months of overly focused cable, I decided I just had to fix the problem. After some research I found the fix very simple. I sold it to a guy that rented a room from me.....
