Fixing ERROR c : 13 : 01 MEMORY ERROR c 13 01 - FIX! Error in Camera not on memory stick.

Fixing ERROR c:13:01 - simple in 10 mins. --------------------------------------------------------- First make sure your Memory stick works, Plug it into your computer and do a quick format - all data will be erased. Now plug the Memory stick into the camera, and of course.. Beep Beep Flash Flash MEMORY ERROR c:13:01 ! DMN! Give it a moment and it will calm down. Put the camera into Setup Menu. On my camera (DSC-P51) i use a nob to switch between Pic/Shutter/Movie/Setup. [Slight veriations on different cams.] Now plug the camera into your computer via USB cable, you will see the USB drive popup under 'My computer'. Access the Memory stick this way and delete all and any files / folders. Now format the memory stick with the default settings. The format will run through the camera. When the format completes: Unplug the camera from the computer, remove the memory stick from the camera, turn the camera off. Then turn the camera back on and plug in the memory stick. C:13:01 is no longer there and your camera is working!! woohoo. Do his with every memory stick you tried in your camera that gave you an error c:13:01. Good Luck.
