sony mp4 problem

when i copy video files to my sony mp4 and try to play them on it the video playing option shows message "NO FILES!".Whereas same files are present in he audio player with there audio only.I've tried to copy files using windows media player synchronization, IM TOO PEG ENCODER and also copy pasted them but of no use.plz help me out.
