Sony Battery Cover Replacement

I'll be attempting to replace the battery cover on a DSC- S500 as soon as it arrives. Can anyone help me in figuring out how to remove the old cover? I'm hoping that when the new one arrives, that maybe that will shed some light on how the whole thing works. It just seems as though it shouldn't be that difficult, but in spite of pushing here and there, I haven't been able to make it budge. Thanks.
