Yes...just found out (finally). The scumbags at Toshiba wouldn't tell me after the BRAND NEW LAMP I bought didn't have the instructions in it. Make sure the main power switch is OFF. Hold the "ON", "MENU", and "INPUT" buttons at the same time and turn the main power switch on. Keep them held until the yellow power standby light comes on, then let go. It is done. I genuinely hope this offends and/or irritates someone at Toshiba. Have a good one, and best wishes to all who find this and are able to use it. Barry
