This is Kelvin from Lake Providence and I am having the same problems that other people are having with the camera suddenly going into safeguard mode. I wish you had a solution to this problem because this camera hasn't even worked for a solid year and I know that shouldn't be. Camera has not been dropped or abused in any way so I dont know what the problem could be. I have a JVC Compact Vhs Camcorder and my model number is GR-AXM18U. Thanks for your help in concern. You must have one of these cameras.
